I spent 15 years of my life as a student at Maple Avenue Dance, growing, developing, and learning within a family of caring faculty and staff. As a child, I learned through MAD about the importance of hard work, dedication, and Practice. Not only was dance class a source of
socializing with others sharing my interests, but each Class was also a lesson in self-discipline and commitment. I believe that there is nothing better than for a child to gain life lessons while having fun and doing something they love, like dancing. Not only do students at MAD learn how to strive for their own personal best, but they are also
taught to respect the teachers who provide them with continued support and care. Always approachable and willing to share their acquired skills and knowledge, the highly decorated faculty and staff at MAD become role models and mentors for their students. During my years at MAD, I developed into a technically strong and well rounded dancer due to the constant advising that I received from my teachers as well as the self-discipline and dedication that I acquired. I believe that each year MAD continues to outdo itself as a studio constantly striving to achieve the best for its students. As a student at MAD, one is guaranteed to leave class having learned or acquired something new,
whether it is a new movement, a new dance style, a new friend, or a new life lesson. MAD is a center of knowledge and education providing nothing but the best for its students. It truly is where you want to be.
