Maple Avenue Dance is a family I grew to be a part of. I was just a thirteen year old girl looking to take a dance class over the summer. Little did I know those first few steps on that Harlequin floor would sculpt and nurture me into the human being I am today. This studio is not just my Alma Mata, it will always be my haven and my home. It will perpetually be music to my ears and rhythm in my feet. It is true that Maple Avenue Dance gave me confidence and strength when I was lacking. However, MAD also presented me with good friends, exemplary role models and an immaculate work ethic. My grand jeté is not the only evidence of MAD. Maple Avenue Dance is in my bones as it is in my smile.
